Community Resilience Group Briefing - 3 September 2021Post in The Garve & District Development Company by Megan Urquhart
Numbers of confirmed cases of COVID have risen again across the NHS Highland area in the last week therefore the message remains to be careful and follow government guidance in order to limit the spread of the virus.
There is a further message from NHS Highland this week which relates to reducing the pressures being experienced in primary and secondary care. Anyone with a non-life threatening condition who would usually go to A&E is being advised to call NHS 24 on 111 first, day or night, to be directed to the right NHS service. Further details can be found in the attached press release.
This week’s briefing is attached and contains information on:
- The current numbers of covid cases across Highland.
- Details on asymptomatic and symptomatic testing
- Next week’s community testing programme for people without symptoms which will be in Inverness
- Details on the next round of the Connecting Scotland Programme which aims to support digitally excluded households
This is accompanied by the weekly NHS Highland Stakeholder briefing.
Thank you for everything that you are doing in your communities
