Christmas crafts

Change of Plan - Coffee Morning as normal this Saturday 12th 10am-1pm with Christmas Crafts

Post in Community Groups & Events by Morven MacDonald
Coffee Mornings will go ahead and sadly the lunches are on hold. See below for details. Please come along and maybe join in the Christmas Crafts?

A Warming Cup of Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows awaits you along with the usual delicious cakes at Garve Public Hall

The Garve & District Development Company, Lochluichart Community Trust and the Community Council jointly decided the provision of community lunches would be a great idea.  However, due to the procedures required by Highland Council the joint working group are unable to move the idea forward.  We are all very disappointed and deflated, however are pleased to say Coffee Mornings will continue as normal this Saturday 12th 10am-1pm and on Sat 17th December 10.30am - 1pm

Crafts and Coffee Morning is on!

BOOK HERE if you hope to come along to the craft session!  We will have local crafters, staff and materials costs commited for the morning craft session on Saturday so having an idea of numbers hoping to attend really helps.

You can create your own unique Christmas card/s, make paper chains and there will be lego for the innovative builders in the community. Everyone welcome! Suitable for adults aswell as children.

Meet the TG&DDC Team
Every Coffee Morning will be an opportunity to meet and chat with representatives of The Garve & District Development Company face to face, no doubt you already know them but they will have an ID badge on if you are unsure. We are a friendly bunch and would love to meet every resident in the community and do our best for you.

We love having children at the Coffee Mornings as long as they are with an adult who will remain responsible for them throughout the event.

For everyone's safety and for all the driver's peace of mind, please stay away from the parked cars, in the hall for the event wherever possible.

Give Someone a Lift

Is there someone you could car share with saving on fuel, enjoying a bit of company and helping reduce our impact on our environment? Some folk may appreciate an invitation from a local to go along to an event together. It can be off putting gopeopleing into the hall on your own for some people.

Tony, Liz and myself are looking forward to seeing to you
