community stalls

Thumbs up - support this new group.

We have a great new idea from one of our community members and would love to see this happen for Garve & District.

Stalls in the Hall

Please see my response to the Dingwall Men's Shed post and their subsequent reply.

This is encouragement I feel we could build on and I have already spoken with some other community members about this.  I was thinking  possibly 3 days a year where people could show and sell their handmade, homegrown, edible goods and promote their ideas too.

Maybe we could aim for an afternoon on Midsummer's day and, to this end, apply for Microgrant funding for then and later in the year.  Funding would be needed to cover the hiring of the Village Hall at 10 pounds an hour.  We could work on that basis.

Would anyone else in the community be interested, I know we have lots of wonderful, creative people out there!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am really interested in this idea , I think that there are many crafters, artists etc who would welcome the opportunity to have a stall to show and sell their makes .

Great to see so much interest in this.  The Garve & District Development Company are happy to work with Pam and any anyone else to get this up and running.  It would be great to use venues in Garve, Achnasheen and Lochluichart if possible.
