Taster Day and Follow-up Sessions for Adults and Kids

Morven, our Activate Garve & District Project Leader has a plan!  She has been working closely with a Tutor from Ullapool to offer a Taster Day on 29 February 2020, for adults and kids, we think it will look like this:-

9.30am  Tai Chi

10.30am  Qi Gong

12pm  Yoga

1.30pm  Lunch, chat about future classes, sign up

2.30pm  Partner Work (all ages)

3.30pm  Family Yoga (all ages)

4.30pm  Close

TG&DDC have submitted an application to LCT and we hope they will consder this quickly to help us take the idea forward.  Following the Taster Day, given demand, we hope to run 10 sessions for adults at half their original price and 10 sessions for children - free of charge.

So what do you think Garve and District?  Let's get lots of thumbs up for this - a community member put this idea out a while ago on social media and it received lots of interest.

This is looking really positive, thanks to Ros Matheson who kicked the idea off on social media prior to Christmas.

Just to say I thouroughly enjoyed the morning sessions of the Taster Day. Marie-Pierre is a fantastic teacher and we covered so much in each of the disciplines. A bit stiff this morning!  A big thanks to Morven and all involved in organising the day and I hope we can get some regular sessions going,

Jeanette
