We are sorry to say that Sheila Mitchell, our Company Secretary is leaving us for well earned pastures new, so we are on the look our for a new Company Secretary to join our merry team.

The Garve & District Development Company

Role:  Company Secretary

Employment: Part-time, Self-employed

Hours: Up to 15 hours per week as the post requires.

Rate: £17.50 per hour gross (includes all self-employment oncosts), plus travelling expenses.

Duration: The post is dependent on a programme of rolling funds being approved each year by Lochluichart Community Trust. The company’s financial year runs from June to May.

Location: Flexible – Home/Office-based apart from attendance at monthly board meetings held within Garve and District (currently via Zoom). The Company currently has an office in Ullapool.

The Garve & District Development Company is looking for a part time secretary to manage the company office.

The successful candidate will have previous professional administrative or commercial work experience in office management. They will be expected to work on their own initiative in the absence of close management with an ability to organise and manage a company office.
