Lochluichart Think Health Think Nature Event

Post in Community Groups & Events by Megan Urquhart
Thank you for joining us to support the new Green Leaves- Growing Garve & District project!

The sun was shining and the beautiful surroundings of Lochluichart Community Hall made for a fantastic afternoon outdoors!

Whilst spring bulbs were planted in whisky barrel planters, there was beautiful clarsach music played by Isbel and an art session and display provided from the talented Esther.
There was a pop up plant sale and childrens outdoor activities including mindfulness hula hooping, nature packs and an appearence from a questionable squirrel!
The sunflower competition results were announcned by Morven and awards were given to the gracious winners!

Midge Bite Cafe provided the delicious sandwiches and cakes.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to Lochluichart Community Hall for hosting the event.

This Green Health activity/event was made possible with funding from Highland and Cairngorms LEADER LAGs (The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas) and was initiated by The Highland Green Health Partnership which aims to encourage more of us to make use of our local green and blue spaces.
