Let's enjoy the summer and catch up over a cup of tea and delicious cake, listening to fabulous live music

What's Happening Indoors and Out for Adults and Kids

  • Live music in Reception from Hamish Polson on accordian & Ronnie Shaw on piano
  • Tea, coffee and cake ordered in the Function Suite. Soft drinks available
  • Relax with your coffee in the Drawing Room, Reception area, Function Suite or outdoors
  • Art activities including origami birds, decorating pebbles and monoprinting with oil pastels in the bay window of the Function Suite for kids and young people, seated in bubbles
  • Get in touch to book an art session.
  • Hand held glider, fun throwing competiton outdoors. Gliders can be decorated with pens and taken home
  • Exciting glider simulator using a controller and laptop outdoors
  • Display of the local children's vibrant and fun loving artwork from Summer 2020
  • Some outdoor seating with elders first of course
  • Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the beautiful grounds and sunshine
  • On Yer Bike will be outside offering information and support
  • Please remember kids remain each parents/carers responsibility throughout the afternoon

The Ledgowan Lodge team will be offering a light lunches menu between 12 - 2pm. Ask a member of staff for the menu on the day or contact them to book on 01445 720252 

Craig and his team could not do enough for us.  A gem in a such a beautiful spot that I had not realised was open to non residents. So glad we can hold our event here and support our local employers. We hope to hold a community event at the Aultguish Hotel in the future too.

Safety Measures

We continue to do all we can to minimise any risk and keep our community safe.  Our current safety measures are:

  • Sanitising hands before entering the building
  • Leaving your contact details for Track and Trace when you enter the hotel
  • Wearing masks when entering the building and moving about
  • Sitting at tables with up to 4 households with a maximum of 10 people in the group
  • The Ledgowan team will bring your tea, coffee and cake to your table
  • 3 indoor areas to choose from and some outdoor seating
  • Windows will be open to increase ventillation plus the fire exit door in the function suite
  • Masks may be worn when seated if you wish
  • Employees, contractors and suppliers of services to The Garve & District Development Company will take a Lateral Flow test prior to the event

Thank you Flora, it was so lovely to see you all enjoying yourselves. Just what everyone was needing after all we have been through.  I was really pleased how it all went with so many in the community coming along of all ages. It was a real team effort from everyone involved. A lovely afternoon and beautiful sunshine was just the icing on the cake! And what gorgeous cakes they were haha.
