Qigong Class Online

Great News! We can now offer a beginners Qigong class via Zoom. We need to know if there is enough interest for this to go ahead. Please let us know by voting below

Our Taster Day tutor, Marie Pierre, is now able to offer a beginners Qigong class via Zoom

This was a very popular class at our Taster Day in February last year so I am hopeful many will take this opportunity to benefit and enjoy it. The class will be available on either a Wednesday or Sunday late afternoon/early evening for an hour depending on which time most interest is shown. We need enough people to get in touch and attend for it to go ahead.

What is Qi Gong?

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. Many health care professionals recommend Qigong as an important form of alternative complementary medicine. Qigong creates an awareness of dimensions of our being that are not part of traditional exercise programs. Qigong practices can be classified as martial, medical, or spiritual. All styles have three things in common: they all involve a posture, (whether moving or stationary), breathing techniques, and mental focus.

Doing this at the Taster day (seems so long ago now - nearly a year) was really good and Marie Pierre is a great teacher too.

Fantastic! We have enough interest from the votes here and thumbs up on facebook to go ahead with some trial taster sessions. The first will be Wednesday 3rd February at 6pm. Look out for a new post on the hub with full details.
