After over 125 years of continuous service sadly Hart Hotels have decided to sell the Garve hotel and cease operating which is devastating news for guests and local staff employed at the hotel.
Garve and District Development company is still supporting the deliveries of hot daily meals and veg/dairy/meat boxes for residents in the district through the COVID19 community grant from the LCT
Funds from the LCT COVID19 support grant are being used to support the safe delivery of evening meals and weekly veg/meat and dairy boxes. This is still open to ALL residents in the area.
Orders must be in by Sunday 10th May by 6pm. Open to all residents of Garve and District. Home cooked evening meals can be delivered to your door 5.00 - 6.30pm.
Newly self-employed individuals who have not been able to access COVID19 support through other national schemes will be able to apply for a one-off grant of 2,000 through the Highland Council.

From Wednesday 22 April the Garve and District Food delivery service will begin for weekly produce orders. From Friday 24th April there will be a daily lunchtime hot meal pick-up or delivery service.
From Monday 6 April, the Council will start to reduce the number of staff in waste vehicle cabs to a driver plus one, with the third operative travelling in a separate van to carry out collections.
