breakfast roll and coffee

Mens Brunch 9.30-11.30am with Ranger Talk - Aultguish Inn Saturday 23rd September

Post in Community Groups & Events by Morven MacDonald
Calling all the guys! Get together for a delicious breakfast roll a hot drink cuppa and good catch up. There will be a follow up talk at 10.30am - "A Year in the Life of a Squirrel"

Meet folk from your community, show those new to the area a good highland welcome. Drop in!

A breakfast roll or the buffet, followed by a talk titled "A Year in the Life of a Squirrel" at 10.30am from the Ranger. The talk will last about 45 minutes and be informal with the support of a projector or laptop.

We hope to organise a community wide talk from the Ranger in the Winter and are currently discussing the options available. This is something that was suggested by residents.

It’s important we offer this to the Mens Brunch group initially, so the talk is accessible for everyone who needs a smaller group setting too. It is hoped we can offer this sort of talk from the Rangers to the whole community in the future if there is enough interest as and when time permits.

On every fortnight, meet up for a breakfast roll and drink provided free, thanks to Activate Garve & District Project Phase 3 funded by the Lochluichart Community Trust.
All welcome from outwith the funded area. It will only cost you what you choose to drink or eat. Go along and enjoy yourself.

Enjoy getting the craic and know you may be supporting others in the community that may be feeling a bit isolated.  Share knowledge and tips. The success of the Mens Shed demonstrates the benefits and enjoyment from these get togethers.

Many men avoid community events and would prefer a good blether, laugh and share news in a smaller group with easy conversation that makes folk feel comfortable. Talking about positive topics to enable everyone to feel good after being at the group and wanting to return. The groups purpose is to reduce isolation, improve connection, wellbeing and quality of life.

Everyone has an equal voice and vote on shaping the group when a decision is to be made. Give me your ideas and thoughts and I will put it back to the whole group for their feedback.

To book or ask any questions contact Morven here! The only daft question is the one you don't ask.

Lads age 16+ are very welcome to attend along with a responsible adult.

Thanks to Lochluichart Community Trust for funding the Activate Garve & District Project Phase 3 and all the local venues that are so flexible, friendly and willing to accommodate the group.
