breakfast roll and coffee

Mens Brunch this Sat 26th November at The Midge Bite Cafe

Post in Community Groups & Events by Morven MacDonald
Calling all the guys! Get together for a breakfast roll and casual catch up at the Midge Bite Cafe near Achnasheen train station at 10am this Saturday

A chance to meet folk from your community and show those new to the area a good highland welcome. Drop in!

What's not to like? Give it a whirl. Share stories, tips, know how and enjoy some good craic. Go for as long or short as suits you.

Our aim is to bring everyone in the community together with a variety of approaches to aid conversation and connection in a way that makes folk feel comfortable. Many men avoid community events and would prefer a good blether, laugh and share news in a smaller group. It's an opportunity to come together to share knowledge, tips and enjoy yourselves whilst improving health and well-being. The success of the Mens Shed demonstrates the benefits and enjoyment from these get togethers.

Brunches are fortnightly currently and decide yourselves if you want to alter how often you would like to meet as you get in the swing of it. A roll and drink will be provided free, thanks to Activate Garve & District Project funded by the Lochluichart Community Trust.

It would be great to see folk attending this event to enjoy themselves, get the craic and consider supporting others in their community that may be feeling a bit isolated.

Lads age 16+ are very welcome to attend along with a responsible adult.

In time you may like to have someone come along to chat about a topic or expert area. Crofting, Tech, Art, Woodwork, Engineering, Cooking, Car Machanics, Money Saving Tips, Industry, Gardening, Cycle Maintenance, Renewable Energy, Health, Fitness, Financial Matters. You will decide what you are interested in yourselves. Just an idea. I am here to facilitate and support delivering a meet up that is what you want. You give me your ideas and thoughts and I will do whatever I can to make it happen!

To book or ask any questions contact Morven here!  The only daft question is the one you don't ask. Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks to Lochluichart Community Trust for funding the Activate Garve & District Project.
