Mens Brunch on Saturday 1st October 9.30-11am
Post in Community Groups & Events by Morven MacDonaldCalling all the guys! Fancy a tasty breakfast roll and coffee catch up at Ledgowan Lodge (Think Mens Shed but with breakfast) All ages welcome
Drop in to Ledgowan Lodge to get the Craic and be there for Others in the Community
Fantastic to see a good turn out with 6 at the first session and a wide age range too! I hear it went well but don't take my word for it, ask around and the guys will tell you themselves.
Our aim is to bring everyone in the community together with a variety of approaches to aid conversation and connection in a way that makes folk feel comfortable. Many men avoid community events and would prefer a good blether, laugh and share news in a smaller group. It's an opportunity to come together to share knowledge, tips and enjoy yourselves whilst improving health and well-being. The success of the Mens Shed demonstrates the benefits and enjoyment from these get togethers.
Brunches are fortnightly currently and decide yourselves if you want to alter how often you would like to meet as you get in the swing of it. The first few trial sessions will provide a roll and drink free, thanks to Activate Garve & District Project funded by the Lochluichart Community Trust.
It would be great to see folk attending this event to enjoy themselves, get the craic and consider supporting others in their community that may be feeling a bit isolated.
Go for as long or short as suits you. Lads age 14-17 are very welcome to attend along with a responsible adult.
Thanks to Lochluichart Community Trust for funding the Activate Garve & District Project.
