Description
A chance to meet folk from your community and show those new to the area a good highland welcome. Drop in!
What's not to like? Give it a whirl. Share stories, tips, know how and enjoy some good craic. Go for as long or short as suits you.
Our aim is to bring the guys together for an informal catch up, where everyone is equal, feels included with light conversation that makes folk feel comfortable. Many men avoid community events and would prefer a good blether, laugh and share news in a smaller group. It's an opportunity to share knowledge, tips and enjoy yourselves whilst improving health and well-being. The success of the Mens Shed demonstrates the benefits and enjoyment from these get togethers.
Folk from outside the funded area are very welcome. It will only cost what you choose to eat or drink. Join in!
Folk attend to enjoy themselves, get the craic and support others in the community that may be feeling a bit isolated. Lads age 16+ are very welcome to attend along with a responsible adult.
The group may like someone to come along to chat about a topic or expert area. You will decide what you are interested in yourselves. I am here to facilitate and support delivering a meet up that is what you want. Give me your ideas and thoughts and I will do whatever I can to make it happen!
