It's that time of year TG&DDC want to invite the community to their AGM to help them celebrate another successful year. As ever, it won't just be an AGM, read on .........

Friday, 22 November 2019, 5 - 7pm, Garve Public Hall

Doors open at 5 pm and we are looking forward to seeing you all, refreshments will be on offer - wine, juice and nibbles and we will also have a number of stalls and organisational representatives:-
  • The Garve & District Development Company - come and chat with Directors and Officers of the company.
  • Doepud Web Design will be launching Phase 2 of our On-line Community Hub - - check out what's on offer, pages for community organisations, pages for businesses, events and much more!
  • Garve & District Community Energy Group - take a look at what the group have available for you on the evening, sign up to energy saving clubs, ask them questions.
  • Garve & District Community Council - this wonderful group of volunteers continue to work away for the good of the community.  Do you have a burning community issue they can help with - well you will have their full attention.
  • Lochluichart Community Trust - lots of community money available for Garve & District.  Do you have an idea that fits their spending criteria or the Community Development Plan?  Do you want to set up a new group but need some funds then these are the guys you need to chat with.
  • Lochrosque Estate - Land and Estates "Enhancing our Environment" Award Winner - take a look at what they do.
  • RBS Community Bank Team - here to let us know how they can help our community.  Banking on-line safely, fraud, scams also happy to attend schools to chat about budgeting and introduce their Money Sense Programme.
  • Pam Morrison - Wool Crafts, so pleased Pam is joining us to display her wool crafts and talk to any like minded folk.
  • Swishing OK, this is getting its own post from Zoe Bedwell - watch this space.
  • Youth Highland will be there to do a fun consultation which will enable our community to better understand the needs of its young people.
  • Kids' Corner - we had hoped to run an interactive kids' corner, maybe around making things from recycled materials, sadly no one has come forward to help (even though we can pay).  We will do our best to keep the kids entertained.
We would love to see those creative beings amongst our community demonstrating their crafts, artwork anything that you personally make either to sell or just as a hobby.  Still time, just use the contact button below to get in touch with Tina.

Is it possible to looking at the timing of these events as for those of us who work, having an event from 5-7pm does not allow of us to attend, as we are only getting home just before 7pm?

Excellent point Sheree, what time do you and others feel, in future, would best fit the community, as obviously this has an impact on other community organisations too?
