After over 125 years of continuous service sadly Hart Hotels have decided to sell the Garve hotel and cease operating which is devastating news for guests and local staff employed at the hotel.
A comment has been received from a member of our community regarding the lack of investment in Garve Public Hall
TG&DDC are pleased to hear that the Achnasheen and surrounding community wish to get together to move their ideas forward for their area.
Following an application by the Garve and District Development Company funding has been secured from the Architectural Heritage Fund to support the recent community asset feasibility study.
A working group comprising representatives from The Garve & District Development Company and the Trustees of the Garve Public Hall have worked with Alan Jones & Assocs to deliver a feasibility study.
Alan Jones Associates gave presentations at two community consultation events - Achnasheen Village Hall and Garve Public Hall on Wednesday, 25 September 2019.

One of our Garve and District community members recently suggested a public meeting should be called to discuss the future of the village hall and the idea was put forward to a vote - votes are in!
